Intake September 23 – 29

Mark Peacor, Clothespin ~ Honorable Mention, Juried All Photography Show

This is an excellent time to join the Guild. The recent virtual shows have had huge exposure through the various social media platforms. Different modes of visual expression are welcome and diversity is encouraged!

Members are invited to submit up to three pieces of art for this show.  All work must be recent and for sale. 

This will be virtual show with no physical exhibition of the work. 

Intake for the show begins Wednesday, September 23rd, and continues through Tuesday, September 29th. Artists must email pictures, in jpeg format, to the address.

The show will premiere on the Guild’s new YouTube channel and various social media platforms starting the weekend of October 3rd.

Show entry fees are for $15.00 for the first entry and $5.00 each additional, up to three.

Oh, and YOU are the art! Set your easel up in the Vineyards. Paint anytime form noon to 6pm.

Any painting you create that day and any paintings you bring with you can be offered for sale at the event. We also plan to hold a virtual online sale after the event to offer your works for sale. The Portsmouth Arts Guild Gallery’s 25% commission will apply to all sales.

Social distancing and masks required.

Regardless of whether you can attend, please consider donating a small piece of art. We hope to have a couple of paintings on each table for the Vineyard’s guests to purchase as a souvenir of their evening, for a freewill donation. Any size, any medium, with a theme of wine, grapes, jazz or vineyard, and finished with a frame or mat would be nice.
