WILL BE AT HUTTLESTON MARKETPLACE

IN FAIRHAVEN, MA. ON AUGUST 15th

Huttleston Marketplace is an outdoor bazaar featuring vendors selling select hand made arts and crafts, quality antiques and vintage collectibles, upcycled items, fresh farm produce, and locally prepared foods.

The Guild will have a tent at the marketplace, offering

guild members’ hand painted birdhouses, flower pots, boxes and more.

Payment can be sent by mailed-in check to PAG, PO Box 463, Portsmouth, RI 02871 (check must be received by July 21st) or through the “donate” button found at the bottom of the first page of the Guild’s website at www.portsmoutharts.org.
Please add a $2.00 service charge for credit card payments.

Call for ALL Artists Portsmouth Arts Guild Imagine Fabric Juried Show
 
 
Intake for the show starts Wednesday, August 19th, and continues through Tuesday, August 25th. Artists must email pictures, in jpeg format, no larger than 5 MB, to the portsmouthartsguild@gmail.com address.
 
The show will premiere on the Guild’s new YouTube channel and various social media platforms starting the weekend of August 29th.
 
Show entry fees are for Members, $15.00 for the first entry and $5.99 each additional and Non-Members, $20.00 first entry, $10.00 for the second and $5.00 for the third entry.
 
Payment can be by mailed-in check (must be received by August 25th) or by credit or debit card through the “donate” button on the Guild website, portsmoutharts.org. Please include an additional $2.00 when paying by credit card. Thank you!

Sunday Plein Air Painters

(sponsored by Portsmouth Arts Guild)

  • We will meet on Sunday afternoons from 3-6
  • All levels and media welcome
  • There is no instruction but we will share our work following the session
  • Fees are $4 a session for PAG members and $5 for non-members. You may also pay $25/$30 for the entire series
  • These are drop in sessions. Rain cancels. Check our website for cancellations.

August 2– Meet at Glen Farm, Portsmouth. We will meet at the parking lot on the    left just past the yellow historic Brown House. Plenty of shade

August 9-Gull Cove Fishing Area, Portsmouth. Located off of Rt 24 N heading towards Tiverton. Turn right at an indentation in the road after a large green sign. We will meet in the parking area. Nice sea breeze with views of water and coves.

August 16-Tiverton 4 Corners. Meet at Gray’s Ice Cream . Paint bucolic New England town with numerous historic buildings. Plenty of shade.

August 23– Meet at the Gazebo on County Road (Rt 114) in Barrington. Park behind the Senior Center. Picturesque gazebo and pond surrounded by shade.

August 30-Bristol Narrows at end of Gooding Avenue. Take Metacom Avenue and turn right at Gooding at the shopping plaza. There is a Walgreens on the left. Go to the end of Gooding. Paint water, landscape, fishermen.
